Interesting picture of Marshal Rokossowski

Is it soviet jacket or is he really wearing a naval uniform?

uniform

While I am not 100% sure ( the photo of him is small), thie looks to be when he was Marshal of Poland Minister of War for Poland and looks to be greeting a Soviat Admiral (Gdansk?). So, the uniform would be a summer Marshal of Poland uniform.

I don't know where exactly the picture was taken, but it was definately somewhere on Polsh Baltic (that guy with moustache is Bolesław Bierut, lider of polisch Party and the prime minister) coast.
He wears the insignia of the Marshall of Poland on the cap and on the boards, but as far as I am concerned there was no white iniform for polish generals and marshals. That's why I think it's a naval uniform.

Are You sure that's a Soviet admiral? There is no description, but the admiral (unidentified, but certainly of Polish navy) on Rokossovskiy's right is wearing a similar uniform as that Admiral they are greeting(?)

admiral

Yes, the Admiral is Polish. I do not think that the tunic Rokky is wearing is a Soviet M1943 though. -DD

Here's the closeup (made with a camera, so the quality isn't good enough, but still...):

OK, I was wrong.
Just got the information that there was white uniform for polish generals introduced in 1952. This means that this picture was taken between 1952 and 1956.
Sorry for causing the problem and Thank You for Help!

Maybe it explains some time after this pic was taken?
