Komsomol medal
Steve,
Do you have a picture of this Komsomol medal? From my research, these republic komsomol laureate awards are quite rare, and were considered state awards almost on the same level as the republic state prizes. For $5, I think you got a steal on that one. Thanks, Keith Quote:

Komsomol laureate
Thanks for the pictures! I think these are one of the high level awards at the republic level, below the State Prize and Council of Ministers Laureat, and higher level Supreme Soviet Gramota award. Does anyone else have any pictures of Republic Komsomol Laureat awards? I think every republic must have had this.

It's that time of year again!
Is anyone here planning on attending the Show of Shows? I will have my same table (I believe it's J4) as last year. See you there! Dave |

Hi Dave,
I know I am going to attend the SOS. The Show of Shows, in my opinion, is the best military show in the USA. If anyone is trying to decide on whether to go I would certainly recommend it. It seems like all the biggest Soviet dealers are in attendance with all their best pieces. When we go to the SOS we also like to hit the Patton Museum of Cavalry and Armor just down the road at Ft Knox. If you like tanks the museum has one of only a few King Tigers left. It is a cut away and very impressive. I will make a point of stopping at your table. I enjoy your website and your posts and would like to put a face to you. See you at the show! Clete

Thursday, if you're a member. If not Friday AM, before all the goodies get gone. At least that is what I've been told.
