Is 50$ a good price for it?

Yes its original, no its not a good price. Save your money and buy a good, not gutted, tunic. It will never have much value as any insignia on it will have to have been added.

I actualu didn't think of adding insignia to it (esp. that collar and cuff tabs are impossible to get). I was thinking of the uniform itself.
How expensive do such "fully-equipped" uniforms tend to be?

If you get one from the late 1940's, lower ranking, they can be had for about $200 more or less. A tunic like this without insignia ( as you say, impossible to get the insignia) is almost worthless.
