Hi Guys, as I have just bought one of these Lenin Medals, I thought that I would show it in this thread.

It is the most common Labour version.

This document came with a medal from Estonia today. Could someone please translate the recipient's name and conferring authority? Thanks!

Another question. I bought a documented labor veteran medal from Estonia last week. The booklet was filled out in Estonian. The document pictured in this thread is written out in Russian. So my question is: were there official rules on what language to use when filling out documents in non-Russian speaking republics? Or could the official or recipient decide on the used language?

Issued by the Narva City Soviet Executive Committee. Narva documents are kind of neat - for a big city, their items don't show up too often.

Estonian award documents are sometimes written in Estonian, sometimes Russian, and sometimes both - it seems to depend on the native language of the recipient, and whoever was filling in award documents that day.
