Short, concrete description of his combat feat or merits:

During the period he served on the 3rd Ukrainian Front he and his crew conducted 50 successful combat sorties in an Il-2 aircraft.

For conducting 26 successful combat sorties with his crew in an Il-2 aircraft he was awarded the Medal for Courage and the Order of the Red Star.

After his last award he and his crew carried out 24 successful combat sorties in an Il-2 aircraft, conducting ground attacks on enemy materiel, troops and pockets of resistance.

According to confirmed data, statements of inspectors and reports of crews, he and his crew destroyed or put out of action 2 tanks, 5 trucks with troops and cargo, 3 carts with various kinds of military equipment, and 4 railroad cars, set on fire 1 train, suppressed 2 field guns, destroyed 2 buildings in enemy pockets of resistance, caused 1 destructive blaze of fire, and killed and partially scattered up to a platoon of enemy infantry with machine-gun and cannon fire and bomb hits. During the aerial battles with enemy fighters in which he got involved he repelled 1 attack by 2 Fw 190s.

On January 29, 1945, during an attack on a concentration of enemy tanks and infantry near the town of Hantos, he conducted 5 raids at the target and managed to set on fire 1 tank and cause 1 destructive blaze of fire, despite the intense enemy regular- and small-caliber anti-aircraft artillery.

On March 29, 1945, during an attack on a concentration of trains at the railroad station of Somogyszob, he and his crew set on fire 1 train with bomb hits and machine-gun and cannon fire. Large blazes of fire and explosions were observed.

On April 1, 1945, during an attack on a concentration of enemy tanks and infantry on the road west of Nagykanizsa, he destroyed 2 trucks with troops and cargo with machine-gun and cannon fire and bomb hits in 6 raids at the target.

For carrying out his combat missions, aimed at the destruction of the German invaders, in an excellent manner, for conducting 24 successful combat sorties with his crew in an Il-2 aircraft, and for displaying courage, heroism, and bravery, he deserves the Order of Glory, 3rd Class.
