I saw this; its well pricedand a nice pick up if you collect civilan flags. Quality of those older flags is amazing.

Absolutly; these older banners are mostly in museums; they are amazing quality, not the sort of put together style of the 1980's banners; each one tends to be unique, etc. I really think a banner like this is worth about $1500. If it were military it would be worth more,and if it were a unit flag from 1927, forget about it, start adding 000's to the price.

As I'm not on the uniforms or banners stuff I would have never imagined it could reach those numbers! Amazing!!!
Anyway, I must say that even for a complete ignorant on the subject like me it's really a beautiful banner!
It seems to be made of silk, is it? Wonderful piece indeed!

There are some VERY high end flag colelctors out there; i sold one flag for over $15k, and many others for over $3k. These are military though; civilian ones don't often get to the $1000 mark, but can.
