Here is a trio to industrial construction worker Piro Petro Kono.

His Medal Of Labour (#11191) was awarded on 7th November (1951).

"He has put all of his force into realising and overcoming the plan for the construction of the sugar factory "8th November" in Maliq ahead of schedule. Has exceeded rates by a considerable percentage, committed to the matter of the 10th anniversary of the foundation of the Party and implemented it completely. Has shows care in the preservation and the maintenance of state materials. He has implemented new labour."

An image of the expanded factory that converted sugarbeet into 2,400 tons of refined sugar per day (originally 1,000 tons daily output).

His Medal "10 Years Of The Army" was awarded by the Directorate Of The Rear. Indicating he was born in 1929.

Awarded to Comrade Piro Petro Kono by Decree 4276 on 20th June 1967.
"For good labour and distinct merit in the management and organisation of labour in the construction of the industrial works of Laç Superphosphate Plant, Fush-Krujë Cement Factory and Rubik Copper Plant."

Here are images of his three projects.
Laç Superphosphate Plant seemed to make more pollution than anything else (It threw out more pollution than all the other regional plants put together) and has now been left abandoned.
Fush-Krujë Cement Factory is still in business after heavy investment.
Rubik Copper Plant closed its doors in 1998.
