Ruiz, besides not being an expert, I like your medal :thumbsup
I hope that more opinions will come soon. Here is a first class. How do you like it? Thank you. |

Hi Marsino,
very difficult to say ... these ones are faked heavily and in better quality than ever these days. A good hint may be to take a closer look at the outer rim. If it is even and has the same thickness everywhere, there is a high chance that it is genuine. With best regards! E.g.: at the first glance it looks convincing, but nowadays I usually work with a microscope. Concerning the extensive use of coining equipment of modern fakers, nothing can be said by just taking a look at an (even good) image :( |

Re: Fake Partisan Medals
I like it but I have to agree with shocktrooper.
Just for my learning experience: where do you actually look for through a microscope?

HI,
i just found this and i would like your apreciation. It looks like a original specimen of a Partisan medal 1st class, with original suspension. The details look very sharp, the ring (i think) is correctly soldered, and the border relief and letters are simetrical. But, a second opinion is always welcome. What do you, fellow collectors, think??? |
