Serial Number: 12 (!!!)
Belonged to a Hero of Soviet Union legendary V.P.Gumanenko - a first HSU on Baltic sea, and a first officer, who brought a victory to Russian Baltic fleet in WWII!!! "

"It would probably take a reader some long hours to read a full description on the significance and fame of this man, numerous streets, named after him, a naval ship, monument, erected in his honor, DOSAAF facility, many races and other competitions, where the prize would be something in honor of HSU Gumanenko...
Instead, below is just a brief description of items, included in this set...
Included:
This highly historic group comes w/GOLD PRESENTATION WRISTWATCH, inscribed on a back to Hero of SU!!!
Also, it comes w/numerous photos of the Hero, many articles, WWII and later, praising him, etc...
Also, it comes w/xerox copy of his Orders book.
Also, it comes w/original documents, signed by 4 Admirals of Soviet Navy in regards to naming ship in honor of their friend and Hero.
Also, it comes w/6 books (!) describing the heroic deeds of , including biographical "By father's footsteps" by his son, also Lieutenant-Capitan of Soviet Navy.
Also, numerous xerox copies from other books and publications, mentioning the hero's exploits at WWII.
Also, it comes w/many other historic documents, xerox copies, all compiled together in red leather presentation folder, inscribed to Gumanenko V.P.
From reading some documents included, it became apparent that most of his awards, his uniform from Victory Parade, and his other personal items were given to museum by his son.
Included in a set is a Certificate of Authenticity from Paul McDaniel (one of the authors of the book: P.McDaniel and P.Schmitt "Comprehensive Guide to Soviet Orders and Medals").
