Silesian Cross Of Insurgency.

This Cross was instituted by decree of the National Council of October 18th, 1946.
It was awarded in a single grade to soldiers of any of the three Silesian uprisings against Germany of 1919, 1920 and 1921. Also conferred on members of the Polish Resistance in Silesia in the years 1939-1945.

Thje Cross is a silver pattée with granular arm surface, 35 x 35 mm. On the obverse of the cross arms are the years 1921 (beginning of the 3rd uprising - left arm), 1939 (right), 1945 (lower arm).
The medallion its self is light blue, encircled by a stylized wreath, with a silver Silesian eagle inside. Medallion reverse non enameled with the letters KRN (National Council) / 1946, circumscribed BOJOWNIKOM SLASKA (to the fighter for Silesia).
The ribbon is 36 mm wide, light blue with white (inner) and dark red (outer) edges; in the center there is a wide stripe of green, red, white, red, green, flanked by white pinstripes (combined colors of the Cross on Silesian Ribbon of Valor and Merit and the Order of the Grunwald Cross).

Polish Crosses

Silesian Uprising Cross

Established in 1946 to honor those who participated in the Silesian Uprising in 1921 and fought in that region in 1939 and 1945. The ribbon is a combination of stripes which includes the colors of the Cross of Valor, Order of Grunwald and the pre-war Cross of Silesian Valor and Merit. Light blue, green, red and white center, and red and white border stripes. The cross is 39mm x 39mm.

Coming soon...
Order of Virtuti militari, 1st, 2nd & 5th class. I already posted the 3rd and 4th Classes. Also Cross of Valor Almost every variation. I'll be short one Type 1 Lenino.
