I remember that there were at least 2 militaria stalls near Peterhoff and it was in may.
At the same time The market near Spas na Krovi church was empty (only one guy selling real nice and cheap paintings) |

Esteban,
Just pay a visit to the Souvenir Market (or Tourist Market) close to the Church on Soilled Blood. I found there soem ribbon bars (fruit salads). There were uniforms and "basic" medals at two guys. There also is a militaria shop near the metro Pl. Vosstaniya. But when I went there, it was closed. Maybe worth a try. Cheers. Ch. |

Hi Esteban,
Any feedback, for the Forum, about your father's trip ? Just for us to update our address books... Cheers. Ch. PS : As dealers addresses or data are not allowed to be posted here, please, don't hesitate to PM any interesting information. |

BTW, my father`s trip to Russia was delayed (he was transferred to Jamaica at the last minute) so he arrived only four days ago to Svetogorsk, where he will work. So the trip to St Petersburg will be a little bit difficult for him. He tolfd me that as soon as his free time allows him will go and search for places and stuff.
Greetings

Thanks Esteban.
So, we'll wait. You are lucky with such a Father seeming devoted to your hobby (... but, maybe is it also his ?). Cheers. Ch. |

Importing/Exporting from Germany
Guys,
I know we have a few German members here. Perhaps one of you might be able to answer a question for me. I'm considering moving to Munich on a semi-permanent basis. This means selling up back home in the UK. I was wondering if there would be any problem bringing my medal collection to Germany, and more importantly getting it out again when I leave in a few years time? I have only soviet awards. Kind Regards, Shane Cook. |

I know of few dealers who bring Soviet awards in & out of Germany. So far I haven't heard any issues with Soviet awards in Germany.
