Were Watches Ever Given As Awards?
I was just wondering if both military and civilian spheres, if watches were ever given as awards in the former USSR.
I know here in the US, watches are sometimes given as awards, often as retirement gifts. The Vostock watch maker was the selected company for making military watches, the "Kommander" watch is world famous and still sought after. Thanks for any information shared.
