Order "For Merit".

The Order "For Merit" (Орден „За Заслуга“) was founded on 24th March 1883 during the reign of Knjaz Alexander I. The Order was essentially an added extension to the Medal "For Merit" which had been founded on 25th December 1881. There are 7 variations of this Order; Knjaz Alexander with peacetime ribbon, Knjaz Alexander with wartime ribbon (for the Serbo-Bulgarian war of 1885), Knjaz Ferdinand with peacetime ribbon (1886-1908), Tsar Ferdinand with peacetime ribbon, Tsar Ferdinand with wartime ribbon (Balkan and Great Wars), Tsar Boris III with peacetime ribbon (1918-1941) and Tsar Boris III with wartime ribbon (1941-1943).

Here is the Tsar Ferdinand variation with the peacetime ribbon.
