Medal "Memory For The 1000th Anniversary Of The Death Of Boris The First".
Here is the Medal "Memory For The 1000th Anniversary Of The Death Of Boris The First" dating from 2nd May 1907.
Saint Boris I was the first ruler of Bulgaria from 852–889 before (semi) retiring to become a monk. This commemorative was issued two years before the restoration of the Bulgarian Tsardom which had not existed since 1396.
