Last three entries look odd to me - font is weird, ink color is different than usual.

What do you think?

With the ink, the stamps and the handwriting, I vote that it's bad. I'd bet money on it, in fact...

Guys,

The handwritting of the last three entries looks familiar. I believe it is bad.

Yolkin,

I believe the first two entries are original, the last two are not.

Just as I thought, however, it seems that the date 15 of September 1949 is in the same style as the 246585 BOH???

What do you make of that, Alexei?

A member from another forum posted this Uchetnaya Card, which is a bit suspisious to me: the Red Banner was awarded first, but is listed as the last award, with totally different handwriting style.

Red Banner was the only award for sale.

I am just thinking that if this would have been done with Award Booklet - we would most likely classify this as fake entry. What about this Uchertnaya Card?

What do you make out of the last entry? Did anyone see similar mismatches/additions?

I saw that AC as well... I did find it strange, but on the fellow's service history he had a photo of the guy wearing a screwback RB. I would find it hard to believe the researcher writing in the entry on the AC, AND getting it stamped (as you can see the stamping on the left hand side) AND having the the fellow's service history and removing the old photo and putting on a new one! Could this be one of those times that 'stranger things have happened'???

Dave,

I find the entire research set strange.

If you look at the service record - some of the items look like they were white-outed and new entries filled in (look at the part when it says the guy was in German captivity in 1941).

Service records look like they were filled sloppy, which is not something one would expect from the Soviet burocrats...

Here's a document just recently posted on the local auction site (you know where I mean) ;) I know what I think... Let's hear your opinions!
