Badge "Scientific And Technical Society".

Hello,

I bought this HTO badge badge and document from a dealer in Israel. He said it was a scientific and tecnical society badge. I tried searching the form but the search engine will not search for HTO (too short?). The document is dated 1976. Would someone give some more information on this organization?

What is price for a such badge? I got one from Murmansk for 25 cents, without document though.

On one site they are on offer for $2.50. without docs. Then on the same site a few pages later there is the same Badge, no idea what the difference is, for $3.50 also without Docs.

That is certainly what it is, a Scientific and Tecnical Society badge of the USSR.
