Ribbon Bars
I just got these from Paul S. I always wanted to add some to my collection. The first one is actually a Hand-Painted ribbon bar.

Nice! I've been meaning to grab a bar or two just for the sake of having them.
Yours are particularly nice examples.

The order of precedence is wrong on the bar. If you go by the ribbon precedence in the statutes, it should go from left to right:
Red Banner of Labor Order of the Badge of Honor Medal for Valiant Labor Medal for Distinguished Labor Jubilee Medal for the 100th Anniversary of Lenin's Birth |

Labor Hero Medal Bar
It's a nice bar with corrections stated above. I've never seen the Lenin's Centenial worn on a 5-sided suspension. It is always to be worn seperately above the medal bar. Still a nice group:thumbsup

Yep Doc, Not according to Medal regulations but the Lenin's Centenial was adapted by veterans to be worn on a ribbon bar i have seen it a few times. I have also seen a single Centenial on a 5-sided suspension :yow Best regards Eddie

Labor Hero Medal Bar
Eddie,
I guess that since the veterans earned them they can modify them any way they want. I've seen pictures of an U.S. veteran that converted all of his earned medals to a neck cravats and has them displayed that way.:yow It was a nice display but I don't agree with the conversion as they were never awarded as a collar mount.:nono Best, Doc |

Ribbon identification help
I would be grateful if someone could help identify the last ribbon on this nice bar that I picked up recently. It consists of an Order of Lenin, Red Banner, 2nd Class Order of Kutuzov, 2 Red Stars, Military Service Medal, Defense of Stalingrad Medal, etc. however I cannot ID the last one (purple with three red stripes) which I believe to be a communist bloc award.
Any ideas ?? Regards, Paul |
