Hungarian cap
Hi,
This is a cap of the MÁV, the Hungarian State-owned Railways. The star is strange for me. Regards, Sandor |

Thanks Sandor,
Good to get these unanswered questions done with Eddie.

Many Thanks! I didn't expect anyone would answer this. The star may or may not be original to this. The seller, however, had another one with the same star. This star is made of metal and enamelled, not plastic like is sometimes on military oval cap badges. |

cap
If it's enamel, it's OK. I saw an archive pic in a Hungarian newspaper yesterday - employees of the railways wore exactly these kind of caps. Czesc, Sandor

Heck, yeah! 22 cases in Hungarian compared to 6 in Polish.
