Short, concrete description of his combat feat or merits:

Sergeant Lozin fought in the Patriotic War against the German fascist invaders from 4.13.42. On April 13, 1942 as part of the 528th Rifle Regiment, he participated in the battles at Orel. His squad destroyed more than 50 enemy soldiers and officers, while he personally killed 5 people in the melee.

During reconnaissance he captured two enemy soldiers.

On 15.4.42 he was badly wounded. He received a second wound at the front on June 30th 1942 and the third was on June 29th 1944, while in combat with the 518th Rifle Regiment.

Since September 1944, Sergeant Major Lozin has been working as foreman of the 2nd border outpost. He refers to his official duties conscientiously. He fights for the conservation of military equipment at the Border Outpost. The recording and reporting of sales is done timely and with quality. He fights for the strengthening of the Soviet-military discipline in the offices.

For exemplary performance of assigned tasks at the front against the German invaders, he is worthy of the governmental award the Medal “For Bravery”

Autobiography

I, Dmitry Fhilippovich Lozin was born in 1919 in the month of December into D. Titovka, Alshansky, Bryansk district, Bryansk region. My parents are Philip Terentevich Lozin, aged 71 and my mother Evdokia Semenovna Lozina, both ethnic Russian. Before and after the October Revolution, they were farmers. Property status of middle-peasants. My Father now resides in the village Titovka, Alshansky, Bryanka district, Bryansk region, though and invalid, he still works in the kolkhoz. Mother died in 1940.

I graduated 8th grade in 1934 and in 1935 entered trade school in Bezhitsa at the factory "Red Profitern", where he received his degree as a carpenter and from 1935 to 1940 worked as a carpenter in the factory "Red Profitern" in Bezhitsa. Knows Russian well. In October 1940, he was drafted into the Soviet armed forces by conscription at the Bezhitskogo Military Commissariat and between 1940 and 1942 served in the 115th separate Construction Battalion of the DVK troops. From 1942 to 1943, was a deputy squad leader in the 109th Separate Infantry Brigade.
From 1943 to 1944, a Sergeant in the 181st Infantry Regiment in the army reserves of the 1st Belorussian Front.

From 1944 in the month of April to July 30th 1944, a Scout/Intelligence Officer in the 518th Infantry Regiment of the 1st Byelorussian Front. From 30.07.44 to 11.08.44, sergeant in the 333rd border regiment at an MVD outpost. From 08.11.44 to 17.04.47, was Company Sergeant in the 333rd Rifle Regiment of the MVD troops. From 05.04.47 to 12.49, a Fireman in the 6th Fire Brigade troops of the MVD, Grozny.

From 10.12.49 until 15.10.51, in the 3rd Independent-Paramilitary Fire Brigade troops of MVD in Bezhitsa. From 10.15.51 to 15.10.54, was a student at the Kiev Fire-technical training institute. In 1954 he graduated and received his military rank of junior lieutenant technician and was assigned to work in the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Gomel regions with the position of fire inspector of MVD Loev region where he worked until June 10, 1955 and was discharged from the Soviet Armed Forces in connection with his transfer to a party job.

Did not take part in the Civil War. Participated in the Great Patriotic War in 1942 as part of the 109th separate Infantry Brigade of the 1st Belorussian Front and in the same year he was wounded. From 20.4.44 was a scout in the 518th Infantry Regiment, as part of the 1st Byelorussian Front. In this year he was twice wounded, one of them heavily. Was not captured of surrounded in occupied territory. Awarded with Red Star, medals for Combat Services, for the Capture of Berlin, for the Liberation of Warsaw, for Victory over Germany & for 30 years of the Army and Navy.

In 1945 as a member of the Soviet political department of the occupation forces in Germany ,he was admitted to the ranks of the CPSU. Membership card number: 05899158, no previous involvement in other parties. No previous convictions. No time in penal units.

Marital status: Married in 1947. Wife: BORDNOVA-LOZIN, Claudia Maksimovna, , born in 1925, is currently working as the chairman of the City Council in Loev. They have dependents, one child born 1948.

My family: Brother, Peter Filippovich Lozin. Sister Maria Filippovna Fimostina, both reside in Bezhitsa. My brother works as a driver, my sister - a housewife. My sister Nina Filippovna Lozina works in the kolkhoz, which is the residence of my father. My parents and sisters community was in the temporarily occupied territory of the Germans from 1942 to 1943 and were farmers.
I from 1942 to 1947 lived abroad in Poland and Germany as part of the Soviet occupation forces.

My wife's parents Maxim Aleksandrovich Bordanov was born in 1892 and her mother Anastasia Filatovna Bardanova, born in 1900, live in CO ASSR and are pensioners. Her sister, Zinaida Maksimovna Bardanova born in 1937 lives in Loev and works in the department of the Kiev State Bank. Of all friends and relatives, none live abroad. The electoral rights of parents and relatives were not removed following the October Revolution.

At the moment I work in Loev District Party Committee as an instructor.

Evening all, i manged to pick up a brilliant Personal File belonging to Senior Lieutenant Nikolai Lvovich Kakhersky.

Kakhersky had an eventful Military Career to say the least.
