Il'jashenko, Kirill Ivanovich, Rifleman, 1142nd Rifle Regiment, 340th Rifle Division
This is my first modest group. I've had an idea to try and restrict my collecting to combat awarded ORS, naturally I look mainly for sub 800k serial numbers.
Then I saw this little group awarded to Kirill Ivanovich Il'yashenko. Two Medals for Bravery and a Red Star. I figured it would be a reasonable assumption that his ORS, sn 1633027 followed his 2 Bravery medals and would also be a combat award. Research will follow in due course.
