Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment
In May 1942 he voluntarily joined the partisans. Since this time he has proven himself the best reconnaissance commander. He is a participant of six engagements. On 21 December 1942 with eight warriors he fought against 53 German soldiers , causing them to rout after which time he captured a prisoner and war trophies.
On 8.2.42 near the village of Adirosheev while returning from a reconnaissance he was surrounded in a house by twelve German soldiers. They offered Evdokimov the chance to surrender. The local chief of police rushed into the house. Evdokimov maintained his composure, killed the chief of police, and using the chief’s light machinegun, gunned down the fleeing Germans. He then obtained a heavier machinegun and personal documents and returned to the unit. For his combat exploits and capable reconnaissance, he is fully deserving of the Order of the Red Banner.
