Found this old shot I took in the Central Armed Forces Museum ( I think) of the 254th Guards Motorized Rifle Regt. In the Name of 'Aleksandra Matrosova'. Interesting to see a Guards unit flag with the honor title actually on the flag itself.

12th Guards Katyusha Regt.
This one has great character; has real field use, but very high quality, and signed by the maker. All 'Katyusha' units were Guard units.

Hi Doug, the repro you show is actually our unit flag from our living history group, 2nd Guards. As you say not made to fool, but it does the job for us.
