Order "Grand Master Of Labour".

Here's a more modern yet still rather socialist Albanian award Order "Grandmaster Of Labour" (Urdhri “Mjeshtër I Madh I Punës”) dating from 1996. The production quality is of a higher standard than late period communist items but it is still nowhere near par with other former Communist regimes in Europe. I wish I knew who designed this as I'm not quite sure they just knew what to do, rather unorthodox.

Here is Shtjefën Palushi on 17th July 2013 being awarded by the president "For outstanding contributions given to cultural and artistic life of the country as a caricaturist and humorist and for great influence in the development of Albanian folklore".

This Order was founded on 28th March 1996 by Decree 8113 and was renamed Order "Grandmaster" on 2nd April 2001 by Decree 8765 due to "communist connotations" of the word "Labour".

For some reason you never see these in wear. For example boxing champion Ali Kastrati received one but isn't wearing it.
