During the combat operation, without any sleep or rest for three days and nights, comrade Kozel guaranteed the uninterrupted preparation of medications for the wounded and ill of the medical battalion and the brigade’s medical platoons. This enabled the timely treatment of the wounded. Due to a lack of casts, he used and alternate material; cotton wool. He used various captured medical supplies.
