All about Avatars...

A fun feature of VBulletin is the ability to place a small image, or "avatar" under your username. There are several standard images I've installed which become available at the following posting levels:

1.......Veteran of Labor
3......Order of the Red Banner of Labor
10.....Order of the Red Banner
25.....Order of Glory 1st class
50.....Cavalier Holder of the Order of Glory
100....Gold Star Hero Medal
5000...Josef Stalin

Each award becomes available to you as you reach the post requirement. You can change your avatar, or see what avatars are available to you by entering the User Control Panel (click on "user cp" in the top row of buttons) then "Edit Options". The avatar menu is at the bottom. After 5 posts, you are welcome to submit an avatar of your own design. You can submit your artwork to me and I'll reduce it for use on the system. You may want to play with this on your own before submitting the artwork. Try reducing your image to the approximate size before you submit it. You'd be suprised how different it looks.
