"Vazgen Sargasian" Medal.
The "Vazgen Sargasian" Medal («Վազգեն Սարգսյան» Մեդալ) of the Republic Of Armenia Armed Forces (ՀՀ զինված ուժերի). Founded by Order #757 of 12th September 2002.
Created in honour of the late defence minister, prime minister and founder of the Armenian Armed Forces who was assassinated on 27th October 1999. The Medal is awarded for reducing risks to the lives of service personnel and strengthening the effectiveness of the Armed Forces. It can only be awarded once. "1. ՀՀ զինված ուժերի «Վազգեն Սարգսյան» մեդալով պարգևատրվում են. ծառայողական պարտականությունները կատարելիս արիություն, խիզախություն և կազմակերպչական հմտություններ դրսևորած ՀՀ ԶՈՒ սպաները և ենթասպաները, ժամկետային ծառայության ընթացքում հայրենիքի սահմանների պաշտպանության, զինծառայողների կյանքին սպառնացող վտանգը վերացնելու գործում անձնական խիզախություն ցուցաբերած զինծառայողները, Հայկական բանակի կայացման և ամրապնդման գործում զգալի ավանդ ունեցող անհատները: 2. ՀՀ զինված ուժերի «Վազգեն Սարգսյան» մեդալով պարգևատրման ներկայացնում են. ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարի տեղակալները, ՀՀ ՊՆ և ԶՈՒ ԳՇ վարչությունների և առանձին բաժինների պետերը, պաշտպանության բանակի, բանակային զորամիավորումների, զորամասերի հրամանատարները, ՀՀ ԱԱԾ տնօրենը և Ոստիկանության պետը, ՀՀ կառավարությանն առընթեր արտակարգ իրավիճակների վարչության պետը, ՀՀ նախարարությունների, գերատեսչությունների, պետական, հասարակական կազմակերպությունների ղեկավարները: Ներկայացումները հասցեագրվում են կառավարական պարգևներով պարգևատրման ՀՀ ՊՆ հանձնաժողովին: 3. ՀՀ զինված ուժերի «Վազգեն Սարգսյան» մեդալը շնորհվում է ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարի հրամանով: 4. ՀՀ զինված ուժերի «Վազգեն Սարգսյան» մեդալով պարգևատրվածներին տրվում է այն կրելու վկայական: 5. ՀՀ զինված ուժերի «Վազգեն Սարգսյան» մեդալը կրում են կրծքի ձախ կողմում` «Գարեգին Նժդեհ» մեդալից հետո: 6. ՀՀ զինված ուժերի «Վազգեն Սարգսյան» մեդալով հետմահու պարգևատրում չի կատարվում:" Here is #2935.
