Actually that’s not a bad price with document...forget the pi## taking, on ebay we all know that.

Prices are going to rise in a big way if the demand prevails as the stock has become limited.

I see that on a weekly basis as the once easily available becomes non-existent replaced by fakes of items we once thought impracticable to fake.

Nevski and now pat wars on hangers, which are from top to finish remakes.

Gentlemen,

have you ever seen the prices in Germany? If you get an Order of the Patriotic War for under 160 Euros you got a bargain. They are selling them for up to 350 Euros!!!

The 2. class is around 45 Euros. The cheapest I ever got at ebay was 17,50 Euro. The cheapest Red Stars you can find are at 15 Euros.

I think those prices are the exception rather than the rule... I just recently got a pricelist from a fellow in Western Europe for Soviet awards and his prices are on par with what's seen over here. Likewise, I know that there is another seller in Germany who sells his stuff for a fraction of these prices. Sounds like this guy is the German version of a particular "dot com" dealer in the US, selling Nevskys for $900...

Actually for the medals you just mentioned - the prices aren't that high. In fact - they are on par with or below what major dealers charge on their sites.

Keep in mind - these medals are quite rare, not all dealers even have them for sale.

I don't think that a final price of US $97.50 for the medal
"For Development of Oil and Gas Fields of Western Siberia" is a good price (if I was the seller it WAS...), nor it reflects the true rarity of that medal.
