Medal "For The Defence Of Grozny".

I recently came accross some awards from rebel republic of Chechnya.

This medal was established in Sept 1996 after the first Chechen war for defense of Grozny.

First, are these for sale? If you know a source please MP me.

Second, I wonder where they were made? The "ribbon" looks rather homemade but the medal is very unlikely to have been made in Chechnya. Maybe in the middle east somewhere - Kuwait or S. Arabia.

No these are not for sale - I saw this one on a Russian site.

I don't know where were these made. I hope that other members of the forum can provide us with more info on Chechen awards.
