Two flags, what are they? original?

Hi!
These are two variations of a flag that I have a few questions about.
What were they used for?
Why are the fonts different? simply different manufacturers?
Are they original?

They are original flags, they simply are unattributed.

What era are they orginal to? 50's? 60's? or later?
