Director Of The Head Office Of Roads Shoulder Boards.

Here are a pair of shoulder boards that belonged to the Director of the Head Office Of Roads Under The Council Of Ministers. There was only ever one person in the role of director during the period of 24th December 1952 to 1st February 1957 when directly under the Ministerial Council.

The rank (which would be for a role similar to a minister) equates to a Lieutenant-General a particularly high rank for Bulgarian forces (who did not have the rank of Marshal).

These are quite possibly the only pair still in existence. Unfortunately the caterpillars have fed on them, specially on the red cloth.
