In battle in Hungary, Lake Balaton, Var'jashker (Somogyszentpál) Comrade Nikitenko with his stubborn labour arranged a solid defence, mining at the front of combat subunits of our front area, laying 170 anti-tank mines and 240 anti-personnel mines, barbed wire defences 375 metres.
In offensive battle from 29-03-1945 Comrade Nikitenko took participation in demining roads, settlements, bridges, personally raising 140 anti-tank mines and 203 anti-personnel mines. Participating in the construction of 15 bridges, 11 defences.
Whilst breaking defences in Feldbach, Austria participated in making passages in their mine fields, raising 120 anti-tank mines and 140 anti-personnel mines.
All of this assisted the uninterrupted advance of offensive units.
