Ilse Zinn, Industrial Worker.
Here are scans of a lot of DDR documents I bought some time ago, the price was right so I couldn't say no. I only ever completed two years of formal education in German so if my translation isn't perfect there's only me to blame.
First is a nice sized group to "Sister" Isle Zinn from Karl-Marx-Stadt (Chemnitz) who would be 90 years old this week. The first document is a "Thank You" for having actively participated in the 1964 census. The second document is for her 2nd place Betriebssportgemeinschaft badge for Bowls (with a score of 29 woods - A woman after my own heart) dating from 1966 The third document is for participation in a lecture at Karl-Marx-Stadt Lecture Centre entitled "What should a socialist leader know about the standards of the labour laws?" in late 1972. |

Re: German Democratic Republic Documents.
Here is her certificate for "successful" completion of a Marxist-Leninist Further Training three month course of the Special School of District Leader of the Socialist Unity Party in 1972. The second and third pictures are for her badge "For Good Military And Technical Knowledge" in Bronze from 1974. The reverse of the document informs us that she was in the "Haste Makes Waste" Movement of the "8th May" Brigade.
