Documents
Interesting seller on our favorite internet auction set has many documents for sale. All the documents have the same date, same issuing signatures. The only thing different is the name of the recipient.
Can anyone think of any possibility other than deception that could account for this? Last edited by Sanzotta; 03-08-2014 at 02:45 AM. |

Re: Documents
Sanzotta,
The documents themselves are original. They were unissued blanks. The seller (most likely) got his hands on them and decided to fill them out to give them "legitimacy". As to the same unit number, that happens to be the only (fake) stamp that he has :D Marc |

Re: Documents
It looks like our friend, Colonel Sergeev from VCh 92684, was a very busy boy on May 5, 1965! And luckily for him, he had complete sets of blank, unissued documents available...
Marc PS: from what can be seen, the medal seems to be a genuine voenkomat issue |

Re: Documents
You can get some of Napoleon's hair and a piece of the original cross to go with them for an additional price. If you pay enough and take off the "made in china" sticker you can be certain it's all real even though it's made from injected plastic.
I suppose destroying real history for cash is worse than making something completely fresh. Where there's a will there's a way.
