Badge "85 Years Of The Department Of Militia MVD PMR".

The following two badges were in the same lot as the first one and are also Moldovan (PMR).

The first is for the 85th anniversary of the local law enforcement department of the Moldovan MVD - according to the seller. It has a raised line on the reverse for a serial number (but this one is blank/unissued). The "rays" of the cross are silver colored and the diamond behind is gold, which is hard to tell in the photos (still experiencing technical difficulties). I am also not familiar with the figure on the horse or what it stands for unlike the ubiquitous St. George and the Dragon on the upper piece of the second badge (next post).

The horseback figure is of Aleksandr Suvorov in downtown Tiraspol.

This badge is for "85 years of the Department of the Militia of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, PMR". Three piece construction; Kiev manufacture. Suvorov on horseback- decidedly PMR.
