Short description of personal combat feat or accomplishment

He took and active part in the Seysinkso-Genzanskoy (?) Operation. During the voyage young Red Sailor proved to be proactive and strive to learn the craft technique as quickly as possible. During combat operations ensured smooth functioning of his area. During the accident he acted clearly and confidently. An explosion and the keel was damaged in the compartment of the propeller shaft. Water began to fill the compartment. Comrade Gusev quickly sealed the hole, put into operation the bilge-fire pump, pumped water out of the bay, supplied water to the fire, resulting in the ship not listing. He is disciplined, mentally stable, committed to the party of Lenin-Stalin and the Socialist Motherland. He is worthy to be awarded the Ushakov Medal.
