It's not only about tracking down (they are VERY RARE) - it's also about the prices.

I'm sure the prices aren't "friendly" but at the same time someone could have these tickets in a box of old bits and be completely oblivious of them. I've found that lots of paperwork is thrown together and disregarded time after time and you never know! Buying old suitcases full of old bits of paper has paid of for me in the past. Now all you have to do is be close to the metro and see what emerges from household clearance. It would probably be more successful than waiting for it to be "presented" for sale online. It is a small world after all and as they say one man's junk is another man's treasure. The previous owner of this farm for example used ORIGINAL Rembrandts to plug a hole in a leaking animal watering trough. I wonder just how many old tickets have helped in the construction of a cigarette?

I think chances to win Powerball are higher than finding them on a garage sale in old book in Portland Oregon USA? :laff

This hat badge of Kaganovich Metro worker (1935-1936) is rare and expensive. :cool:

In 1952 every station of Kaganovich Metro had a book, where people could write their wishes and opinions about the Moscow Metro.

Keep them coming! I really don't know where you find all these treasures. Thank you for grouping them here. I wonder how harsh the criticism got in the "comments" book. I know I've written some sharp suggestions after getting poor service.

There is no criticism in the book
The main topic of each comment is to praise Stalin for his work and care about the Soviet people.
If somebody criticizes something in 1952 would be going in the Metro "one way" :mad:

If you are talking about the book, it's 100% original.
Here is another book (after 1953) - Moscow Metro named after Lenin
The name changed from Kaganovich to Lenin.
