Great Dembel patch, never get tired of seeing these!

I just received this actual patch in the mail from Hungary, and have replaced the auction image with a scan of the patch (the colors of the scan are better than the photograph of it).

Kind of a stupid question, what is a "dembel patch?"

Dembel is shorted from demobilisation, Solders go to Army for 2 years when it's only 100 days left they are starting to be a dembel in fact 100 days till the order of demobilisation (27 of April or 27 of September) cam out, so they can go home. during that 100 days there are a big numbers of custom and rituals, enhancement of uniform is one of them.

Another one just arrived. I read is as saying "North Sea" but this is what the dictionary tells me, haha.

It says Severomorsk, which is a town near Murmansk in the northern USSR by the sea.

Just received the uniform this was on. The patch was roughly glued on and the whole thing makes me think the entire uniform was put together by someone using insignia pulled from several sources. Anyhow, another nice dembel example.
