Hi All

There is a short film, SUPOSELLY from the archives of the KGB that show a recovery of a UFO in USSR. The film is dated from 1969.

It is - to my best judgment - either a contemporary fake or an old Sci Fi movie from the USSR.

Either way - it is NOT a genuine capture of an alien spacecraft.

So, please take a look at this clip, and do your best - anything goes - the uniforms, weapons, ranks, vehicles - check it out and point all the WRONG things in this movie.

Thanks

The titles at the beginning of the clip:

this was shown on U.S. television a few years ago in a "documentary" of the Soviets and what they knew about the UFO "conspiracy". Touted as the same thing, secret KGB footage of a crashed UFO. Interesting, but let's apply Occam's Razor here..downed UFO from an advanced alien civilization, or assemblage of old soviet newsreels with some added footage with the intent on cashing in on the UFO craze..(anyone remember the "authentic" alien autopsy footage?)

I'm going to go with old SCI-FI from the USSR. Given the status of the KGB within the country, and the national interest in the cosmos, I'd find it really hard to believe that there was never a movie made concerning the KGB and UFOs--even if it just portrayed the KGB in a positive light on the subject, in the style of the Men in Black or something.

Ahh..., the Sverdlovsk incident.

I am happy to provide some links for my fellow collectors turned ufologists to analyze:
UFO Area - The Russian UFO Crash in 1969
KGB UFO FILES

Anyway, now to what I think: I think fake. Many of the facts in the above sites seem to contradict themselves when try not to and trying to. Then ago, the refer to both points of view.
1. The crash occured in 1968. There are shown wearing M69 uniforms. The uniform regs were published in 1969 and effective 1970. Even though a small percentage of the Soviet military were outfitted with M69 uniforms before 1969, it is unlikely the the soldiers here were.
2. The vehicles-According to the sites, the truck, a "1948 ZIS-151" was decommissioned a long time ago, and is hard to find. If a military vehicle is no longer commissioned, why would it be used. If it is not used, it is sold as surplus, which makes is not that hard to find.
3. There are only tracks on the snow from the previously arrived jeep but not from the truck. There is also no distinctive footprints trail which occured when soldiers approached the officer. It means that the truck and soldiers were arriving for the first time and there were no rehearsals! Everything looks very genuine. Everybody from soldiers to officers are doing the precise specific job. Cameramen are trying to depict the performance of loading some debris to the vehicle, picturing sometime specific spots, zooming back and forth and reflect the general situation. The behavior and relations between the officers and KGB representatives is quite natural. KGB representatives are only taking very limited initiative of touching the objects leading cameramen and army officers who are trying to look unconcerned with the situation. The whole picture is perfectly reflecting the policy of "just fulfilling the orders" and the absence of any emotions.
Hmm, probably they ARE doing this the first time, yes. But note how there is no audio. The cameramen are probably screaming their asses off gving orders to the "soldiers" telling them what to do, therefore, arent they fulfilling orders?
4. The ground around the crash is not much disturbed and trees around are not all down on the alleged crash trajectory.
Obviously, many trees should be down and there should be a huge crater.
The UFO is "small" and absolutely unimpressive. The object looks more like several white concrete panels stocked together but material is definitely not a concrete and relatively light. Two soldiers were able easily carry the long piece of debris with the size and form of two border road blocks.
Yes, I believe aluminum or plastic. Hence the lightness. And hmm, maybe the guys spent all of the summer of 1967 digging hole, late summer/early autumn making craft, and late autumn/early winter sticking craft in hole, leaving no footprints after it snows?

The autopsy can be forged by taking a rubber doll, cut open, stick random stuff inside, close it, start filming, cutting open again, and taking stuff out.
