Most prominent figures and entities who have meritorious achievements of independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Macedonia and the extraordinary results achieved in civilian and military areas.

Most prominent personalities who have contributed exceptionally to develop and consolidate peaceful cooperation and friendly relations between Macedonia and other countries, as well as strengthening its international position and reputation;

Governmental and non-governmental organizations, associations and individuals who work with their actions and achieve exceptional results significant affirmation of the Republic of Macedonia in the field of science, art, education, economy, humanity, etc., at home and internationally, and particular individuals in their field of work or a professional engaging received top awards, honours or most of international importance.

Heads of state and government, as well as other prominent foreign figures for extraordinary merits in the development and strengthening of friendly relations and cooperation between Macedonia and other countries.


The Order of the Republic of Macedonia has been awarded to the former presidents of Macedonia and three renowned institutions.

The Order of the Republic of Macedonia received by the Rector of the University, Dr. Velimir Stojkovski, noting that it is a reward for all the work of teaching and scientific staff in the past 60 years.

MPC received award "Order of the Republic of Macedonia" by the President (10.06.2007)

Today the President of the Republic of Macedonia Branko Crvenkovski presented the highest state decoration - the Order of the Republic of Macedonia to the Head of the Macedonian Orthodox Church HH Stephen.

The ceremony was held in the cathedral of St. Sophia in Ohrid
