Unknown Shoulder board
Hello,
any information about this shoulder board? I think it is not a soviet one, because it is bigger in size as the usual soviet one. Maybe Bulgarian or Romania? best regards and thanks Andreas |

Re: Unknow Shoulder board
For other design reasons I'd guess Bulgarian since at a minimum a Romanian wouldn't use cyrillic.

Re: Unknow Shoulder board
It could be Bulgarian but it seriously doesn't ring a bell. Early post-Soviet Ukrainian?

How about Yugoslav?
The Yugoslav Peoples' Army Ground Forces (Serbo-Croatian: Kopnena Vojska - KoV, Cyrillic script: Копнена Војска - КоВ) was the ground forces branch of the Yugoslav People's Army (JNA) from 1 March 1945 until May 20, 1992 when it became the Ground Forces of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Re: Unknow Shoulder board
I have brought this up to our Russian colleagues. One believes it is Tsarist Russian - WWI era - medical officer, the outdoor adviser of the 7th Kovenskogo fortress hospital.
"Замечательный и, что главное, не частый погон. Первая мировая война, военный врач, надворный советник 7-го Ковенского крепостного госпиталя." It is under discussion as I am writing this...
