Medal "Zhukov"
Of course everyone knows and has the Zhukov medal, it was officially issued by most of the Republics; this one with Ukraine issued document. I also have one with document issued by Belorusse.

What are the award criteria for the Zhukov Medal? I have Zhukovs awarded to a husband and his wife.

Doc,
It was awarded to combatants, including Partisans, for bravery during WWII. At the same time regulations state that the basis for the award is a documented proof of direct involvement in the war, so it shouldn't be considered a bravery award. This medal is not awarded to recipients of the Order of Zhukov. Alexei |

Here is a document to Nikolaj Stepanovich Milenko. "The site" shows only one result (for an OPWI'85) so it is fairly safe to say he was born in Slavjansk, Donetsk Oblast in 1925.
