Been wanting one for a while to feed my badges habit. :chuckle

It's pretty small, 30mm (not including the star tip) by 20mm. But the screwpost is about a mile long. I'd think that thing would poke me until I went crazy and broke it off (and sloppily soldered a pin to the reverse).

Nice one, Jens. I notice yours has the blackened shovel and weapon as most do. Mine however does not and it always made me feel like a second class citizen because of that omission.

I certainly wouldn't feel 2nd or 3rd class about that honestly worn piece. The late period Badges are (or at least were a couple of years ago) available in vast stocks of unissued pieces in their cases. When I had the chance I picked up 60 of these in their cardboard cases for about 15-20 cents a piece. I could have bought considerably more but I just didn't have the space.

Don't worry, yours is just a variation. I was surprised how small this badge was. I expected it much larger especially with so many details.

Hi! This mine. I have got it together with a bunch of other minor USSR medals and badges, some of which are definitely fakes.
