I saw that as well but I'm sure he meant it as a joke. He just forgot the smiley.

It's good that you care, but I will vouch for Sergei; he's a good guy and a serious collector and he knows what Alexei is. I'm sure he meant no disrespect.

It's not my day today.
Sergei, I am sorry if I offended you.

Sorry! My last post was unduly flippant and completely uncalled for. I sincerely apologize to everyone involved. Ericlida, honestly, that is not what I meant. I hold Alexei's opnion in highest regard. I do not know what got into me.
It's one of those days, I guess.
Once again, I do apologize.

I believe all opinions are worthy on this forum wether we agree or not.

Alexei's opions are held in the highest and his expertise is un questionable

I don't think any offence was intended by anyone. Lets face it, collecting what we collect can be, shall we say confrontational at times

It's all good

Um, no. I don't intend to discourage discussion or subscribers' contributions, but sometimes opinions can be rather stupid.

Agreed But don't questionable opinions that don't purposely set out to offend, encourage spirited discussion and lead to information sharing

As I said, it's all good, I just hear to learn and share

There are questionable opinions and then there are those not based on any substance or clung to despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Although I'm not as uptight as I sound and share your "It's all good" philosophy, it's NOT all good. Some is misleading and brings more heat than light.

Possible fakes:

Russian MVD 2nd class (almost certainly a fake);
KGB badge (same);
Voroshilov Marksman (same);
Military Academy Badge;
One of the WWII Excellence badges.

Maybe some more, I just don't want to strain my eyes.
