Badge "Friend Of Security Troops".

Here's an odd (to me) badge I just picked up. "Friend of Security Troops." Who would go around wearing this? Oh well, it should be part of my collection soon.

Re: Rarely Seen Securitat Medals

This badge, while not a "Pioneer" badge, was for young people who, perhaps, had the idea of joining the Security Troops when old enough. I don't know what benefits, if any, were given with the badge. I have seen the badge on Security Troop uniforms here and there... perhaps that individual began as a "Friend of..." or, perhaps he volunteered to be a "host" to these young candidates. A nice badge, I've seen it both as a pin-on and as a stick pin. Note the badge's central image matches the shields on the Security Troops shoulderboards.
