Now, in the museum we see another version. Was the writings were added later, or is it a different banner?

Post CCCP victory banner

On April, 15, 1996 the Decree ¹ 561 authorizes so-called " a symbol of the Banner of the Victory " - a red flag with the image on both parties(sides) of a panel in the top corner at a staff of a five-pointed star (color of a star is not stipulated), the length of a flag is twice more than width. "

The Symbol of the Banner of the Victory is used together with a national flag during the state holidays connected to a victory in Great Domestic war, February, 23, May, 9 etc.

Tal:
As I know, that flag you put with writings it is rumored from a single-but almost elite-soviet batallion(I saw it on a documentary of discovery Channel). They took the credit saying later that it was that same flag with all that writings added to "honorify" it. But the thing is that the real flag was lost, stolen or even burnt. All of this are aproximate hypothesis to what happened with this WWII relic.

And: The last flag you put according to regulations should have a golden star, not a white one.
