Badge "Commemorative Of Participation In The Railway Building Youth".
Here is the Badge "Commemorative Of Participation In The Railway Building Youth" (해주-하성간청년철도건설참가기념). A quite stylish copper and baked enamel Badge most likely dating from the 1970's. The front and back both read "해주-하성" which was a 1960 short story by Kim Il-Sung, the English title has not yet presented itself to me.

It looks like I got the date a little bit off on this one. "해주-하성" is Haeju-Hasŏng of the China Sea Youth Railway (황해청년선). The line was originally built as a narrow gauge railway under Japanese Occupation. The "Youth Volunteers" converted the line to a standard gauge railway between 30th May and 12th August 1958.
I believe this is the Class of Locomotive replicated on the Badge, the "Mateni" Class.
