Disclaimer: This likely sits better under the makers' marks and logos sticky, but that's closed.
In looking around earlier this morning, I found this site with an excellent compilation of makers' marks, logos and (especially useful) variations, as factories have updated their logos over the years. For those of you using Firefox or Chrome browsers, an automatic translation may be available. Otherwise, I'm working on putting together a page that includes these markings, photographic examples, and the correlated factory, mint, et. al., in the Queen's own. |

Again, the makers' marks thread is a little locked up, so here goes.
The Online Encyclopedia of Silver Marks, Hallmarks & Makers' Marks has an excellent selection of images and older makers' marks. Good stuff. |
