I am the high bidder for a few common Bulgarian medals from the Mielke collection. The catalog lists the accurate award dates but documents are not included. The connection to Mielke is a matter of faith unless the Bulgarian mint made a high-class version for foreign celebrities. I will see.

Antonín Sochor and Vajda

Antonín Sochor recieved the Hero of Soviet Union #2854


Stěpan Vajda was killed by a German sniper while on a recce patrol in the Polish city of Tvorkuv, in the evening on April 6th, 1945.

Updates to follow. I'm trying to make sense of the translator version of the new look and updated warheroes site :)
