A stunning medal from an organization notoriously difficult to collect. The reverse should probably be the obverse here; note the beautifully high relief carving of the Customs Building against the untextured background... a milestone- comparable to US medals- in my opinion. Anyway, it was issued in 2012 and also has a soldered suspension ring. No mint mark.

Now this is interesting... another type of 20 year medal. This has been, I am told, created for presentation to the higher ranks and dignitaries. This is the only medal in my entire collection that has been enameled on both sides. Due to expected wear and tear (dings and scratches) of normal wearing, I would say this particular medal was probably not made to be routinely worn but kept as a presentation piece. Also of note is the late model DDR type fastener... upside down.
