Red Army Soldier Shmaj has been in the unit since 1943 in the position of Auto-Welder-Motorist. In the battles for the Baltic and West Prussia he performed the most demanding work in repairing and restoring trophy vehicles taken from the enemy on the battle field. During the battle for Konigsberg and the region of the spit was imaginative with exquisite work in the transfer of an Auto-Column Detachment by servicing vehicles directly on the front's edge. Productively repairing motor cargo under field conditions with an average amount of repair, there by increasing the readiness of the autopark allowing the delivery of cargo to the cutting edge.
